1st December 2011: Christmas is coming!

Yet again, the festive season has arrived! Firstly we would like to remind all our customers that we are implementing a Christmas Hamper service this year for our clients. If you would like to arrange a hamper, please inform our office before 7th December 2011.

Also, please note that our office enters its annual closedown period over Christmas and New Years. As such, our office will be closed on 24th December until 8th January 2012. Office hours (9:00AM - 5:00PM Monday to Friday) will resume on Monday 9th January.

This has resulted in a new proceedure for disbursing owners, so if you experience ANY issues with your MID Month Statement, then please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know.

16 September 2011:  Register Online

At Rented.org.nz we strive to MAXIMISE the returns for your investment property. As part of our approach, we have now made it easier for tenants to arrange - anytime, from anywhere - an inspection of your property. This means we can find the right tenants for your property sooner, minimising your vacancy rates and maximising your returns!

This is done through 'Register Online' software. Tenants simply click the 'Book Inspection' button as shown below and can then arrange inspections with the property manager - allowing us to provide a much faster and convinient service.

 

This system also sends reminders to the prospective tenant about the inspection once it has been arranged and also provides an avenue of follow up for prospective tenants that is quick and easy to utilise.

The new design presents a much more user friendly and easy to use version than what was being used previously. 31st May 2011: Queens Birthday

Please be advised that our office will be closed on Monday 6th June for Queens Birthday.

9th May 2011:  Introducing Janine Ridings

 Janine has been working within the Property Management industry since early 2010

She has completed Level 4 of her Real Estate Certificate and continues to further her studies of the industry. She recently spent time in Customer Relations has used this experience to hone her skills in relation to property, places and people.

Janine will be taking over management of our casual let service along side her role as leasing manager within the company.

To provide additional services to our client base, our office will soon be introducing a casual let service in addition to our property management services.

30th March 2011: End of Financial Year

As the financial year draws to a close, it is time to get your accounts in order!

In addition to your regular statement at the End of Month disbursement for March, you will also be issued a 'End of Financial Year Statement' to assist you with your financial reporting. It is suggested you verify and reconcile the final income amount shown on this report with the monthly payments that you have received from our office.

Don't forget, all your statements can be accessed online via Console OnlineAgent!

31st January 2011: Newsletter Release, Console OnlineAgent

After analysing the results of our Customer Surveys, we wanted to take steps to introduce our clients to aspects of our business that we have updated or that they may not be aware of.

This month we released our newsletter series, the first issue was focused on Console OnlineAgent. This is an extremely useful online tool which allows Owners & Tenants access to maintenance information, payment ledgers, property statements when it suits them.

As 2010 draws to a close, we would like to review with our Customers how we did as their property agent.

We will be sending out a Customer Survey to all our clients, we appreciate your honesty and the time taken to complete the surveys.

1st October 2010: New GST Rate Implemented

As you will no doubt be aware, the Government is increasing the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

This increase will mean that GST will rise from 12.5% to 15% as of 1st October 2010.

All of our company software is being updated to accomodate this GST change, so although we are hoping this rollout will proceed smoothly please let us know if you experience any issues.

 



7th July 2010: Excellent Growth Requires Office Move

Thanks to the support we are receiving from our valued clients, REMAX Property Management (www.rented.org.nz) has now officially out-grown our old office!

The increasing demand has meant we are required to take on more staff, and that has meant we have had to expand into a larger office to facilitate that growth.

We have also taken over the former Taranaki Property Management portfolio from Jim Sutherland who has now left the industry.

Our new office is located at:
211c Devon Street East (Just up from Westpac Bank on 'the flat')
New Plymouth

May 2010: To a successful first year
